Alter is excited to announce their partnership with 818 brewing for a weekly pop-up event at their brewery located in Canoga Park each Wednesday starting 7/14/21.
The alignment of Alter and 818 brewing has a lot of relevance to Jeremy and the Alter brand. The (818) and the San Fernando Valley is home to where Jeremy grew up. He also has a deep passion for the local craft beer & food culture in the community.
Each Wednesday Alter is serving up tacos to the locals of 818 brewing. The tacos include the famous braised brisket taco, poblano con queso taco, and recently a Esquite “toasted corn” which is a deconstructed street corn taco. All of Alter’s tacos are served with a homemade flour tortilla, with a number of toppings featuring homemade salsas and hibiscus pickled onions.
Since the partnership with 818 brewing, Alter has sold out each night they have been able to serve the community at 818 brewing. The feedback on the tacos have been amazing and the introduction of the street corn taco sold out within the first 2 hours of opening.
Alter is excited to keep growing their business with 818 brewing and their customers. Starting this Wednesday 7/28 818 brewing will be hosting a dart tournament where more customers will be hungry to hit a bullseye on a delicious Jewish + Mexican inspired taco.
